Pink Ribbon - I will not cringe anymore everytime I see you!

So, happy to here from One Million Moms (love their work/mission) that the Susan G. Komen for the Cure is going to discontinue funding to Planned Parenthood. YAY!!!  Now I can freely buy the yogurt I like and the box of Hamburger Helper I feed my family and not feel guilty that my pennies are indirectly going to the biggest abortion provider in America.

I am not sure what sparked the Susan G. Komen's change, maybe word was getting out and people were speaking up.  Whatever the case, it was a life changing decision - literally!

UPDATE - I should remove this post, as it is not true any more - their decision lasted for what a day?  The Komen foundation yanked their decision - they will indeed still give funds to Planned Parenthood - sad, sad, sad.

March for Life 2012

So, the annual March for Life was yesterday.
I hope they did good!
Why do pro-abortion supporters say as President Obama does
"we must stay united in our determination"
to
"reduce the need for abortion"?
If one is in favor of abortion "rights" because they are a "good thing" for women -
then why would they want to try to reduce it?

(I just love Mary Engelbriet's pictures!)

And the Pink Ribbon Fades

With October over I am so glad to see all the pink ribbon stuff fade away.  Oh what people do not realize about that cute little pink ribbon!  But hopefully word is getting out what the Susan G. Komen Foundation is about.  It does not take a genius to do a little research to figure out the Komen foundation is ACTUALLY CONTRIBUTING TO THE POSSIBILITY OF BREAST CANCER DEVELOPING IN WOMEN.  Of course the Komen Foundation denies the CLEAR-CUT facts.
Abby Johnson posted about Komen's contribution to Planned-Parenthood here.

As for me
this is
the kind
of pink
I like to see!

and especially this

I think she is Friends
with her

We love Pinkalicious around here!

Abortion Pain Prevention Act - NE LB 1101

Nebraska pro-life advocates are fighting for the innocent in an attempt to pass law that would ban abortions after 20 weeks gestation as the babies feel pain! Of course they do! I have always wondered, "Do abortion advocates have any compassion for the pain these babies go through?" Without getting into anything religious that factor has to weigh on their mind?
I for one will be supporting my state's new bill!
Fight the good fight!

Kudos to Dr. Oz - Stem Cell Research

This post is a bit "dated" - But I was thrilled to see someone actually state (even on Oprah) how promising the adult stem cells are for curing certain diseases! The media ALWAYS neglects the information of the achievements of adult stem cells.
Watch Dr. Oz on Oprah with Michael J. Fox - who dispite my difference of opinion with him on the issue I will forever love Family Ties and you can tell he is a kind person - just wrong on this issue! ha, ha!

Montana Plane Crash

A friend just sent me this link on this article. It really gave me the Chills.

One thing that breaks my heart is when the author stated how the very wealthy Pam Feldkamp (wife of extremely wealthy owner of for profit abortion clinics) would laugh at the fetal development signs held infront of the clinics. How cold hearted is that? Besides the fact that babies are being torn apart limb by limb and decapited. The instruments used - just horrific.

Anyway, the author writes the article very well and is not an "I told you so" kind of person.

I thought I would just keep this blog "light", but I see I do get a comment here and there so I thought I would put something up with more of a "purpose" - as some would say many blogs do not have a purpose - but I do not think so. It can be a "creative" outlet for each individual blogger. Perhaps there may not be much "interest" from others (which is fine) it more for the blogger's fun. We all can be a bit narcissistic - hello - facebook!
